Frances Hussmann

Hi! I’m Frances. I became a speech-language pathologist (SLP) because I genuinely enjoy working with children and families to support growth in communication and help them reach meaningful goals, both big and small. I am inspired by how improving someone’s ability to express themselves can positively impact their relationships, confidence, and daily life. Helping others is my passion, and I feel fortunate to make that my career every day.

I’ve worked across teletherapy, private practice, and school settings, supporting children with a wide range of speech, language, and communication needs. I’m passionate about continuing education and have attended conferences and completed coursework in areas including articulation, early intervention, and childhood language disorders.

My therapy approach is client-centered. I prioritize family involvement, functional outcomes, and meaningful connections to everyday life. My goal is to help each child build confidence, independence, and lifelong self-advocacy skills in a supportive and encouraging environment.
