About me

Hello! I'm Fabine. I became a licensed speech-language pathologist in 2016. I found the field of speech pathology during my time as a patient in a hospital. I was assigned a speech pathologist to help me talk and eat again. My experience encouraged my desire to do the same for other people. Throughout the years, I’ve worked in hospitals, nursing homes, early intervention, and with school-age children. I have been lucky to work in various settings. I hold a certification in pediatric dysphagia. My clinical style is functional and client-centered. I individualize and personalize my therapy and encourage my clients to empower and self-advocate for their communication needs.

Fabine Leroy was great to work with. My son was very receptive to her and she had the right amount of work and fun and she knew how to push my son for success without pushing him too far to cause him to shut down. She was punctual and kept us informed and gave us clear directions for practice at home and in the real world. Sometimes zoom would cut out if my son and her over talked each other.
