About me
Hi! I'm Emily. I became a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) because I knew from a young age that I found fulfillment through helping others. I found the field of speech-language pathology, which became a perfect fit for my career. I am passionate about empowering families and individuals to improve their communication from infancy through adulthood. I have taken courses in early intervention and gestalt language processing and am working toward my autism certification. I have worked in settings such as pediatric private practice, teletherapy, home health, inpatient rehab, and post-trauma centers. I would describe my clinical style as holistic and family-centric.

We loved Emily! Albeit we had only 3 sessions but we saw results in the first week, just by applying specific strategies Emily recommended. I was apprehensive at the start, given it’s all via video, but it’s more about providing the parents with the tools, techniques, and suggestions to implement. Parent empowerment! Thank you once again to Expressable and especially Emily for the help! I recommend you guys to every parent who feels they need extra help with their child.
