Elyse Rodriguez
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.A., CCC-SLP)
Hi, I’m Elyse! I first discovered my love for speech and communication while studying acting at Elon University. A Voice & Diction course sparked my fascination with phonetics and how small changes in articulation can shape speech. As classmates began coming to me for help, I realized how much I loved supporting others in finding confidence in their communication—and that ultimately led me to speech-language pathology.
My clinical experience includes both private practice and school-based settings, where I have supported a wide range of communication needs. I have completed specialized coursework in gestalt language processing and natural language acquisition (NLA) and am listed on the NLA-trained SLP registry. I am especially passionate about neurodiversity-affirming care and have led trainings for elementary school staff on supporting neurodivergent students and understanding gestalt language processing.
I enjoy working with diverse communicators and collaborating closely with families and care teams to create meaningful, functional outcomes. My therapy approach is holistic, strengths-based, client-centered, and highly individualized, with a strong focus on empowerment, confidence, and authentic communication.

The therapist was very up front, professional but still warm and inviting for my 5 year old.
