Danielle Blandon

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.A., CCC-SLP)

Hi, I’m Danielle! I became a speech-language pathologist because I experienced speech therapy as a child for a lisp—and I absolutely loved it. My speech therapist made sessions fun and encouraging, and that experience inspired me to pursue the same career so I could help other children feel supported and confident in their communication.

My clinical experience includes working in school (K–12), hospital, outpatient pediatric clinic, teletherapy, and skilled nursing settings. Across these environments, I’ve supported both children and adults with a wide range of speech, language, and functional communication needs. This variety has helped me build a strong foundation in understanding how communication challenges can impact individuals at different ages and stages of life.

I take a holistic, client-centered, and highly individualized approach to therapy. I believe meaningful progress happens when therapy is engaging, supportive, and tailored to each child’s strengths and needs. I also incorporate sensory-based strategies when helpful to support regulation, attention, and participation. Family involvement is a key part of my approach, and I focus on functional goals that make a real difference in daily routines.

I’m especially passionate about early language development, articulation, and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). I love using a “play with a purpose” approach to make therapy fun while still targeting meaningful communication skills. I also value ongoing learning and continuing education as I grow in my clinical practice and expand my skills to better support the families I work with.
