Hi! I’m Cristen. I am grateful to be a part of a field where I have the opportunity to share in the rewards of helping children and adults make gains in their abilities to relate to others and express themselves. Collaborating with clients’ families and other speech-language pathologists (SLPs) makes the work even more meaningful. I love that as an SLP at Expressable, I have the opportunity for this collaboration.

I have completed additional training in select clinical areas, including childhood apraxia of speech, stuttering, and language and vocabulary development. My clinical experience spans a variety of settings, including public schools, private practice, and school-based teletherapy. I enjoy working with children and adults.

I take a highly individualized approach to therapy. By integrating routines-based practices, I focus on supporting meaningful carryover of skills into daily life. I also prioritize functional outcomes, helping each client build confidence, independence, and effective communication skills.
