About me
Hello! I'm Ciara, a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP). I've had multiple family members require speech-language therapy. Seeing the impact that those professionals had on our lives encouraged me to enter this field to help other families as well. I have worked in settings such as private practice, outpatient, and early intervention. I have taken the Beckman Oral motor and DIR Floor time courses. I would describe my clinical style as functional, individualized/personalized, family-centric, and strengths-based.

This virtual type of session is a lot more productive and conducive to (my child's) learning environment than I could have ever imagined. She is a lot calmer and less stressed being able to attend her sessions virtually as opposed to waiting in a lobby. This type of virtual learning also gets me as a parent a lot more involved in her therapy. I'm glad that (my child) looks forward to her sessions each week.
