About me

Hi! I'm Cecilia. I earned my Master of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Cincinnati in 2020. I became a speech-language pathologist (SLP) because I am passionate about language, communication, and helping others. My clinical experience includes providing services to individuals of all ages in a variety of settings including inpatient rehab, outpatient clinics, schools, and homes. I am a neurodiversity-affirming SLP, meaning that I take a strengths-based, individualized approach to supporting my clients and their families. I have also participated in research focusing on typical and disordered speech-language development in monolingual and multilingual speakers. My efforts are centered around characterizing the client in the context of their environment using the lens offered by the International Classification of Functioning, Disability, and Health. By applying this framework, I seek to inform culturally responsive practices that differentiate development from disorder. I love working with clients and families to create personalized treatment plans that support their speech and language goals!

Cecilia Schwartz has been truly a God send to my children with speech therapy. They have improved so much in just the 6 months we have been seeing her, one of the children graduates from therapy next week, and I can hear the differences and improvements daily. The ease of the zoom calls and flexibility is perfect for our family.

Mrs. Cecilia is absolutely amazing with my kids! We are so blessed to have her. She has helped both kiddos improve in their speech and takes time to find the best way to help them. We couldn’t have picked a better therapist for the kids.

We can’t say enough good this about Cecelia! She was professional, knowledgeable and worked wonderfully with our son

Each session is a milestone and improvement. This past session they worked on the /r/ and /l/ blends which can be tricky for my daughter at times. Overall listening she was able to correct herself if needed. She enjoys her speech therapist and really enjoy the fun games played.
