Bryana Merrell

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.S., CCC-SLP)

Accepts 25 insurance plans

Hi! I'm Bryana. I became a speech therapist to help people improve their ability to communicate, connect with others, and participate more fully in daily life. My clinical experience spans private practice, acute care, outpatient clinics, skilled nursing facilities, and K-12 schools, both in person and via teletherapy. I have worked with individuals across the lifespan with communication, swallowing, and cognitive disorders, with a consistent focus on functional, individualized treatment that supports meaningful daily outcomes.

I continue to expand my clinical skill set through advanced coursework and specialty training in LSVT LOUD, Walt Fritz Myofascial Release and Manual Therapy, MBSImP, and FEES/videostroboscopy training through the University of California, San Francisco. This training strengthens my ability to evaluate and treat voice, motor speech, and swallowing disorders using current evidence-based practices.

No matter the setting or diagnosis, my approach is client centered and highly individualized. I believe therapy should focus on functional goals that matter to each person, helping clients build confidence, independence, and communication skills they can carry into everyday life.

I enjoy trying new vegan restaurants, experimenting with recipes, and sharing plant-based meals that even my non-vegan family can’t resist. I also love exploring my city, whether visiting art museums or hunting for hidden-gem vintage stores.
