Bridget Lucey
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.A., CCC-SLP)
About me
Hi! I'm Bridget. I chose to become a speech-language pathologist (SLP) because I believe everyone deserves access to the fundamental human right of communication. I was initially drawn to the field because I love working with children and watching them learn through play. Over time, that passion has evolved into a deep appreciation for supporting individuals of all ages and abilities. I’m continually inspired by how communication shapes our relationships, independence, and daily experiences. I find great fulfillment in helping people grow their communication skills so they can express themselves with confidence and connect more fully with the world around them. I am currently enrolled in the Meaningful Speech Course to expand my knowledge about gestalt language processing and become trained in Natural Language Acquisition. I have worked in clinical settings such as pediatric private practice, acute inpatient rehabilitation, and school-based teletherapy. I would describe my clinical style as holistic, client-centered, individualized/personalized, family-centric, strengths-based, sensory integrated, and rooted in client empowerment to create self-advocates.
