Ava Medeiros

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.S., CCC-SLP)

Accepts 21 insurance plans

Hi! I’m Ava. I became a speech-language pathologist because I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to communicate, be understood, and participate fully in the world around them. I’m passionate about helping clients find communication methods that reflect their individual needs and strengths.

My experience spans diverse clinical settings, where I’ve supported individuals across the lifespan with a range of communication and feeding and swallowing needs. These experiences have taught me the importance of looking at the whole person and creating therapy that fits naturally into each client’s goals, strengths, and daily routines.

I’m committed to continued professional growth and have completed training in the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Approach to Feeding, expanding my ability to support individuals with feeding challenges. I strive to make therapy practical, engaging, and relevant to the skills clients use every day.

My therapy approach is holistic, functional, client-centered, family-centered, and strengths-based. I collaborate closely with clients and their families to develop meaningful goals and practical strategies that extend beyond therapy sessions. My goal is to empower each client to build confidence, foster independence, and participate more fully in the relationships, routines, and activities that matter most.
