Anna Horn

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.S., CCC-SLP)

Accepts 14 insurance plans

Hi! I’m Anna. I became a speech-language pathologist because I’m passionate about helping people feel heard, understood, and empowered through communication. I believe every individual deserves the opportunity to express their thoughts, feelings, and needs with confidence, and I’m grateful to support clients and families on that journey.

My clinical experience spans a variety of settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, home health, and virtual school-based services. Working across these environments has allowed me to support individuals with diverse communication and swallowing needs throughout the lifespan while developing a flexible, collaborative approach to care.

I’m committed to continuing education and evidence-based practice. I have completed specialized training in speech sound disorders, AAC, adult dysphagia, and the SPEAK OUT! program for individuals with Parkinson’s disease. I’ve also had the opportunity to guest lecture occupational therapy students at Western Michigan University on the topic of adult dysphagia.

My therapy approach is client-centered, highly individualized, and strengths-based. I incorporate sensory integration strategies to support regulation and engagement while prioritizing family involvement, functional outcomes, and client empowerment. My goal is to help each person build confidence, independence, and lifelong self-advocacy skills.
