About me
Hi! I'm Ann. I became a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) because I wanted to make a difference in the world. I believe that enhancing the lives of others by helping them overcome obstacles and setting them up for success is an incredible way of making a difference. Using evidence-based interventions, counseling, education, and compassion, an SLP is able to connect with individuals and help them set and achieve goals both in therapy and in their personal lives. I have worked in clinical settings such as schools, telehealth, university clinics, and pediatric outpatient therapy. Continuing education and flexible thinking are exciting ways to enhance my clinical skills! I am currently finishing up a course in gestalt language processing. I look forward to future education and training on It Takes Two to Talk and childhood apraxia of speech. I would describe my clinical style as holistic, client-centered, functional, individualized/personalized, family-centric, strengths-based, sensory integrated, and rooted in client empowerment to create self-advocates.

Ann Funk is so patient. She listens and engages my son with his interests so he will continue holding a conversation. She continues to guide him and remind him of what they have learned. She is amazing!

Truly love my daughter’s therapist and the platform itself is super easy to use. I like the ability to see all my child’s progress and ability to upload documents and communicate directly with her therapist. I love this service and would highly recommend!

Ms. Annie is always kind and patient. She approaches issues in a creative way that has produced more progress than we have experienced in more than 6 years of various other speech therapy sources.
