About me

Hi! I'm Andrea. My passion for speech-language pathology began as a paraprofessional in a preschool working with children with special needs. I loved witnessing the milestones that my students made, especially with their communication! I witnessed a powerful moment when a child said their first word with their speech-language pathologist and I immediately knew this was the field I wanted to pursue. I'm SOS Approach to Feeding trained, PROMPT trained, and PECS Level 1 trained. I've worked in outpatient pediatric clinics, early intervention, and therapeutic preschools/kindergartens. I would describe my clinical style as family-centric and strengths-based.

Speech therapy has been such a great entity and extremely necessary for (my son) with autism and expressive receptive disorder. In a little over, he has made remarkable progress—communicating his needs, improving eye contact, and gaining confidence. Andrea was patient during the virtual sessions, skilled at facilitating the concepts we used, and truly dedicated to (my son's) progress. I highly recommend their services to any parent seeking meaningful growth!

The sessions were very convenient since they are virtual. Our speech therapist assigned fun homework to help my daughter throughout the week.

I enjoy the engagement and support from Andrea for [my son]. It has yielded his ability to retain attention and gain new developmental skills regarding how to engage with others while playing. I’ve enjoyed his progression with communication during meal times. His ability to communicate what he wants and being able to explore words from the goTalk20 has helped him tremendously!

We love working with Andrea! She is so fantastic! Very patient, gave us great advice to pursue OT for our son, which I believe is helping.

It has been a wonderful experience from the very beginning. I was really hesitant about the sessions being virtual at first but Ms. Andrea has been extremely thorough in her approach whether it’s through sharing information, or ideas of how to integrate and engage my sweet (son) when it comes to helping him express himself or ways to improve on how I am communicating with him. The platform is straightforward. You receive a link and instead of trying to figure out how to sign in, you copy the link and it takes you directly to the zoom meeting. One of the things I came to realize is that you actually can get a lot done in a 30 minute session. I’m extremely pleased with the progress (my son) has demonstrated thus far and I’m really happy with Expressable Therapy!

Andrea is fantastic, and (my daughter) really enjoys the games they play. (My daughter) works hard to incorporate the lessons into her everyday speech, and she looks forward to her "speech class" every Monday. Thank you so much!!!

It’s such a joy to see the development and progress of (my son) each week using ideas, cues, and techniques from Andrea. She helps to make things so much easier when it comes to the that takes place during (my son's) sessions.
