Allyssa Nehrenz

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.S., CCC-SLP)

Accepts 6 insurance plans

Hi! I’m Allyssa. I became a speech-language pathologist because I’ve always been passionate about helping people find their voice. My connection to the field began when my sister worked with a speech therapist as a child, and seeing the impact communication support had on her inspired me to pursue this work myself.

I first earned my undergraduate degree in music therapy before expanding my clinical training with a master’s degree in speech-language pathology. I love blending creativity, connection, and evidence-based care to support clients across a variety of communication needs.

My clinical experience includes working in skilled nursing facilities as well as pediatric and adult outpatient settings. I’ve supported clients with a wide range of speech, language, voice, and motor speech needs and especially enjoy helping individuals build confidence and functional communication skills that carry over into daily life.

I’ve completed specialized training in Diagnosis and Treatment of Childhood Apraxia of Speech Using Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC) as well as Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT LOUD).

My therapy approach is client-centered, functional, and highly individualized. I prioritize collaboration with families and caregivers while creating personalized therapy experiences that empower clients and support meaningful communication outcomes.
