Alicia Lopez

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.S., CCC-SLP)

Accepts 13 insurance plans

Hi! I’m Alicia. I became a speech-language pathologist because I wanted to help people improve their communication and build deeper connections with others. Communication impacts every aspect of our lives, and I love supporting individuals as they find their voice and participate more fully in their daily routines.

My clinical experience spans a variety of pediatric settings, where I support children with diverse speech, language, and communication needs. My therapy approach is functional, client-centered, routines-based, and strengths-based. I actively partner with families and caregivers to ensure strategies seamlessly translate into everyday life, fostering functional communication, self-advocacy, and long-term empowerment.

I am deeply committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care through continuous learning and clinical specialization. To best support my clients and their families, I regularly engage in advanced professional development, including specialized training in swallowing and dysphagia management (MBSImp).
