Alexis Irazoque

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.S., L/SLP)

Hi, I’m Alexis! I became a speech-language pathologist because I’ve always known I wanted to teach and support others in a meaningful, personalized way. I was drawn to speech-language pathology because it combines education, connection, and individualized care, allowing me to help people build confidence and strengthen communication skills across all stages of life.

I’ve worked with individuals across the lifespan in a variety of settings, including early intervention, private practice, teletherapy, and outpatient rehabilitation. These experiences have allowed me to support clients with a wide range of communication, voice, cognitive, and swallowing needs while developing a collaborative and compassionate approach to care.

I’m especially passionate about early language development, voice therapy, swallow safety, and helping individuals regain communication skills after brain injury. I enjoy partnering closely with clients and families to create therapy experiences that are functional, engaging, and meaningful to everyday life.

My therapy approach is individualized, client-centered, and strengths-based. I prioritize collaboration, functional outcomes, and family involvement to help each client build confidence, independence, and lifelong self-advocacy skills in a supportive environment.
