About me

Hi! I’m Addison. I became a speech therapist because I really enjoy connecting with people and helping them feel more confident communicating and navigating their world. I especially love working with kids and families and meeting each person where they are. I care a lot about making therapy feel comfortable and encouraging, and I love celebrating the small wins that add up to meaningful progress. My training includes graduate coursework and continuing education in pediatric speech and language development, early intervention, AAC, and child-centered, evidence-based approaches. I’m early in my career and enjoy learning, asking questions, and growing through hands-on experience, and I’m currently working on additional coursework in pediatric feeding and swallowing. I have experience working in public school and private practice settings, supporting children with a range of communication needs. I take a client-centered and highly individualized approach to therapy. By integrating sensory-integration-informed practices, I focus on helping clients regulate, engage, and apply communication skills in meaningful, real-life situations. I also prioritize family involvement, strengths-based strategies, and functional outcomes, helping each client build confidence, independence, and effective communication skills.
