Abigail Duncan

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.S., CCC-SLP)

Accepts 19 insurance plans

Hi, I’m Abigail! I became a speech-language pathologist because I’ve always loved communication, teaching, and helping others grow. From a young age, I knew I wanted a career where I could make a meaningful impact by supporting people in finding their voice and building confidence in themselves.

I’ve worked in a variety of settings, including private practice, outpatient pediatric clinics, and schools, supporting children with diverse communication needs. These experiences have helped me develop a flexible, individualized approach that centers each child’s unique strengths, goals, and interests.

I’m especially passionate about helping children access communication in ways that work best for them. I’ve worked alongside AAC specialists, gaining valuable experience supporting children who use augmentative and alternative communication. I’m also CPR and Basic Life Support certified and enjoy continuing to grow my clinical knowledge through ongoing professional development and continuing education.

My therapy approach is client-centered, family-focused, and empowering. I strive to create personalized therapy experiences that help children build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and become strong self-advocates in their everyday lives.
