About me

Hi! I’m Abigail. I’ve always had a deep passion for communication, whether it was spending hours playing school with my sister or finding ways to teach and connect with others. When it came time to choose a career, I knew I wanted something that allowed me to make a real impact; to help others find their voice, learn, and grow. Speech-language pathology felt like the perfect blend of everything I value: communication, teaching, and supporting people in meaningful ways. Becoming an SLP has given me the chance to channel that lifelong passion into helping others enhance their lives through communication. I am CPR and Basic Life Support certified. I have also worked alongside AAC specialists, which has given me valuable training and experience in supporting children who use augmentative and alternative communication. I plan to continue expanding my knowledge by pursuing additional CEU courses in a variety of areas within speech-language pathology. Clinically, I have worked in a variety of settings, including private practice, outpatient pediatric clinics, and schools. I would describe my approach as client-centered, individualized/personalized, family-centric, and rooted in client empowerment to create self-advocates.
