About me

Hi! I’m Abbey. I became a speech-language pathologist to improve lives in communication and swallowing disorders! To deepen my clinical expertise, I’ve completed extensive continuing education across feeding, swallowing, AAC, literacy, multilingual service delivery, executive function, and telepractice. This includes advanced coursework in complex pediatric feeding, infant feeding and swallowing, cleft palate and craniofacial differences, AAC assessment, multilingual intervention strategies, phonological awareness, school-based service delivery models, stroke care, and managing communication and swallowing needs for medically complex populations. My clinical experience spans diverse settings, including outpatient clinics for children and adults, telepractice, inpatient hospitals/rehabilitation, acute care, schools, skilled nursing facilities, and private practice. I approach therapy with a holistic, client-centered, functional, and highly individualized style.
