Wynette Caldeira
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.S., CCC-SLP)
Hi, I’m Wynette! I became a speech-language pathologist because I wanted to support communities with high needs and limited access to services, especially after seeing firsthand the gaps in care while working in Harlem, NY as a special education itinerant teacher. I’m passionate about expanding access to meaningful communication support and helping individuals build confidence and independence in their everyday lives.
I’ve worked across a variety of settings, including schools, clinics, and home health. These experiences have strengthened my ability to provide flexible, individualized care that meets clients where they are and supports functional communication across environments.
I’m especially passionate about helping children and families build practical communication skills that carry over into daily routines. I enjoy partnering closely with families and interdisciplinary teams to ensure therapy is relevant, accessible, and meaningful. My clinical approach is highly individualized, client-centered, and holistic, with an emphasis on sensory-informed strategies, family involvement, and functional outcomes that support engagement, regulation, and real-world communication success.
