Whitney Tougas

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.S., CCC-SLP)

Accepts 19 insurance plans

Hi! I’m Whitney. I became a therapist to support people in building skills to express themselves in the world and foster meaningful connections to enrich their lives. My clinical experience includes private practice, outpatient clinic, assisted living facility, and school settings, where I’ve supported individuals across the lifespan with a wide range of speech and language needs. Working across these settings has strengthened my ability to provide individualized, functional therapy that supports communication in everyday life.

I am passionate about supporting transgender women using holistic gender-affirming voice practices. My therapy approach is client-centered, functional, and highly individualized, with a strong focus on building trust and making therapy engaging. I believe people learn best when they feel supported, empowered, and understood. I seek to help my clients build the skills they need to communicate confidently, connect with others, and become lifelong self-advocates.
