Tanisha Morrison
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (MCD, CCC-SLP)
About me
Hi! I’m Tanisha. I became a speech-language therapist because everyone deserves a voice, an opportunity to communicate their thoughts, feelings, ideas, opinions, dreams/aspirations, and ultimately express who they are to the world. Communication is essential for a meaningful and enriching human experience and cultivating relationships with others, and I wanted to play an influential part in helping others to be truly heard. I have a particular specialty working with early intervention, Assistive Alternative Communication (AAC), social pragmatics, autism, and am well-versed with speech sound disorders. My clinical experience spans diverse settings, including clinics, home-health, telehealth, nursing homes, and private practice. I approach therapy with a holistic, client-centered, and highly individualized style. I prioritize family involvement, functional outcomes, and client empowerment to help each person build confidence, independence, and lifelong self-advocacy skills.
