Sydney Nygaard
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.A., CCC-SLP)
About me
Hello! I’m Sydney. I became a speech-language pathologist because growing up, I watched my little sister find her voice through years of speech therapy after a profound hearing loss went undetected as a baby. Experiencing firsthand how speech therapy can transform an individual AND their family’s life inspired me to help others build their voice and communicate with confidence. I have experience working as an SLPA supervisor. I have worked in clinical settings such as public schools, private clinics, and early intervention. I would describe my clinical style as client-centered, functional, and rooted in client empowerment to create self-advocates.

Instructor was very friendly and made the questioning fun for my 4-year-old. He was always very engaged with the questions asked, and she was always complimenting him and giving him phrases during his nervous times during the evaluation process
