About me
Hi! I’m Suzanne. With a background in theater and performance, I have always been fascinated by the human capacity to express and create. I became an SLP in order to nurture communication of what is most essential and meaningful to students and their families. Communication is a fundamental human right and it is an honor to provide this care to students and their families. I’m committed to lifelong learning and regularly pursue advanced training to better support the families I serve. My continuing education spans many clinical areas, including neurodivergent affirming practices and AAC assessment and treatment for complex communicators. My clinical experience spans the school and skilled nursing settings. I approach therapy with a client-centered, functional, and highly individualized style. I incorporate routines-based and sensory-integration-informed practices to support meaningful carryover, and I prioritize family involvement, strengths-based strategies, and client empowerment to help each person build confidence, independence, and lifelong self-advocacy skills.
