About me
Hi! I'm Sarah. I fell in love with speech pathology when I started learning about how we acquire language as infants. Communication is a vital component of our lives. I’m passionate about the work I do and take great pride in supporting my clients’ ability to express themselves. I have worked in schools, home care, private practice, and telehealth settings. I love working with both children and adults with a variety of speech and language concerns. I am certified in Beckman Oral Motor, PROMPT, and have received training in the SOS approach to feeding and myofunctional therapy. I would describe my clinical style as holistic, client-centered, functional, personalized, and family-centric.

This program really promoted my awareness of communication tactics generally, and with a focus on my own style and effectiveness in communication. I gained a great deal in working through various types of exercises and gaining tools needed to find positive results. I am not able to more confidently speak to/with others in various contexts. My therapist Sarah is so good, very observant and empathetic, offering support and guidance well beyond just the mechanics of fluency alone.

Ms. Sarah always incorporates conversation into the beginning of the sessions, identifying what strategies my son wants to use prior to starting then based on what he struggled with, that’s the focus of the day then she share tips and suggestions on what to work on for the next session.
