About me

I began my journey as a pediatric speech pathologist at Texas Christian University, where I obtained my Bachelor's of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders. I then attended the University of Texas at Dallas, where I obtained a Master’s of Science. My career has been focused on the pediatric population, with emphasis on early language, complex communication disorders including apraxia and selective mutism, as well as feeding/swallowing disorders. Throughout my career, I have completed numerous continuing education courses in pediatric feeding and swallowing, courses focused on oral sensory feeding disorders, transitioning from tube to oral feedings, feeding and swallowing with medically complex patients, and infant feeding. I have a passion for working with clients and families through caregiver/parent coaching and empowerment, in areas including but not limited to early communication, apraxia, and feeding/swallowing disorders. I'm also passionate about educating therapists in these areas. In my role as Clinical Director of Onboarding and Clinical Education for Expressable, I facilitate therapist education, mentoring, and training to ensure all Expressable therapists are supported in their efforts to provide clinical excellence to their clients.

My daughter really enjoyed talking to Robin. It eventually got to the point to where they we're just having conversations & (my daughter) didnt even realize that therapy was still happening.
