Rena James

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.S., CCC-SLP)

Accepts 16 insurance plans

Hi! I’m Rena. I became a speech-language pathologist because I want to help people and their families understand one another, both with and without words. I believe communication is about connection, and I’m passionate about helping each client find the best way to express themselves.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with individuals across the lifespan who present with a wide range of communication needs. This experience has allowed me to tailor therapy to each client’s unique strengths, goals, and daily communication challenges while partnering closely with families and caregivers throughout the process.

My therapy approach is highly individualized and rooted in strengths-based care. I focus on functional goals that support communication beyond the therapy room, using practical, meaningful strategies that fit each client's everyday life. My goal is to help every client build confidence, foster independence, and communicate in ways that are authentic and empowering.
