Hi! I’m Megan. I became a speech-language pathologist for several reasons, including my interest in language, science, and advocating for and working alongside clients. My passion for this area began in high school when I was part of a mixed special and general education choir where we where we worked alongside peers through music. My interest furthered when I went to college and learned about the field of communication science disorders and the flexibility to work with people across the lifespan. I love that speech-language pathology is so vast - it keeps me on my toes! However, what brings me the most joy in our work is seeing the parent/caregiver and/or client feel confident and proud in the ways that they have grown through therapy.

I have completed specialized training in the Bjorem Speech assessment and treatment approach for childhood apraxia of speech (CAS), Sarah Ward’s executive functioning strategies, PECS, the Transdisciplinary Play-Based Assessment approach, dual-language learning and dialectal differences, SLPA supervision, and an introduction to PROMPT. I have also completed AAC training with Lingraphica and early intervention training through EI Colorado.

My clinical experience spans diverse settings, including schools (PreK-12th grade), skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), home health, and private practice. I approach therapy with a holistic, client-centered, functional, and highly individualized style. I prioritize family involvement, strengths-based strategies, and client empowerment to help each person build confidence, independence, and lifelong self-advocacy skills.
