About me
Hello! I'm Loren. Watching a close family member struggle with dysphagia and communication due to a Parkinson's diagnosis ignited in me a desire to help others. I have worked in pediatric outpatient settings and taken certification and trainings in the following: Beckman Oral Motor, Early Feeding Scale, IDDSI, SOFFI, Mealtime Miseries, MBSIMP, and LAMP. I would describe my clinical style as client-centered and individualized/personalized.

My daughter‘s therapist Loren is incredible. She has helped my daughter immensely!!! She has been such a support to our family. Her advice has helped us make better decisions for our daughter and her future. Her sessions help me understand how I can help my daughter outside of therapy. We practice our homework all week every week and we constantly see improvement. My daughter went from only saying words to saying sentences, wants and needs and every week she says a little more. I’m so grateful to have her as my daughter‘s therapist. No words I say compare to my gratitude for Loren. She amazing!!!

Mrs. Lauren is very supportive and is always encouraging when (my son) gets frustrated. She keeps things interesting by finding different games for him to play during their sessions. He was really engaged in their battleship game, and even though he is sick and has a runny nose and cough, he was more than happy to practice his sounds with her.

We were skeptical about not having in person sessions for our daughter who is 7. But Loren was so amazing with her from the start. She made her feel comfortable and was very engaging.
