Lauren Galipp

Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTD, OTR/L)

Accepts 8 insurance plans

Hi, I’m Lauren! I became an occupational therapist (OT) because I genuinely love getting to know people and understanding how they experience the world. I’m passionate about helping individuals and families build skills that make daily life feel more manageable, meaningful, and empowering.

My clinical experience spans early childhood intervention (ECI), private practice, pelvic floor outpatient care, and pediatric home health through a children’s hospital. Working across these settings has given me the opportunity to support both children and adults with a wide range of developmental, functional, and sensory needs.

I have specialized training in both pediatric and adult pelvic floor therapy, neurological assessment, infant feeding and lactation, and the transition to solids and feeding development. These experiences have deepened my passion for supporting clients through important life transitions and helping families navigate everyday challenges with confidence.

My therapy approach is holistic, client-centered, and highly individualized. I use routines-based, sensory-integration-informed, and strengths-based strategies to support functional progress in everyday life. I prioritize family involvement and collaboration, with a focus on building confidence, independence, and self-advocacy skills that carry over far beyond therapy sessions. I’m especially passionate about supporting feeding development, pelvic health, sensory processing, and helping clients build practical skills that improve participation in the activities that matter most to them.
