Laura Green
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.A., CCC-SLP)
About me
Hi! I’m Laura. I became a speech therapist so that I could work with children and help them learn to communicate. Over the years, I have expanded my love for my career to working with adults as well. Communication is such an essential part of our basic quality of life. It is the key to sharing who we truly are. I enjoy learning as much from the patients as they learn from me. I love working with families to overcome challenges and I feel that every individual I have worked with has helped me become a stronger and more knowledgeable therapist. My clinical experience spans diverse settings, including early intervention, schools, home health, outpatient therapy, and private practice. Additionally, I have completed vital-stim training to expand my expertise in dysphagia management. I approach therapy with a client-centered and highly individualized style. I prioritize family involvement and functional outcomes to help each person build confidence, independence, and lifelong self-advocacy skills.
