Kristin Sears-Kopp

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.A., CCC-SLP)

Accepts 23 insurance plans

Hi! I’m Kristin. I became a speech-language pathologist because I’ve always been fascinated by the science of communication and swallowing and the vital role they play in helping people connect with others and navigate everyday life. My early experience in pediatric acute care shaped my passion for providing compassionate, family-centered care, even in the most complex situations.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with individuals who have a wide range of communication and feeding needs, tailoring therapy to each client’s unique strengths, goals, and daily routines. My background in pediatric acute care has given me a strong foundation in supporting medically complex children while collaborating closely with families and interdisciplinary teams.

I’m committed to lifelong learning and have completed advanced training through The Hanen Centre, the SCERTS Model, the SOS Approach to Feeding, and PECS. These experiences have strengthened my ability to provide evidence-based, individualized care across communication, social interaction, and feeding.

My therapy approach is holistic, strengths-based, client-centered, and highly individualized. I collaborate closely with clients and their families to create meaningful, functional goals while fostering a supportive environment where every child can build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and thrive in everyday life.
