About me
Hi! I'm Kimberly. As an avid reader my whole life, I understand the power of words and language. My goal is to help my clients achieve their best possible communication. Each day, I’m grateful for the chance to partner with and walk alongside clients and their families as they work to improve their communication. Over the course of my career, I have worked in inpatient and outpatient hospital-based settings, a university clinic, and for a major school district. I have had the honor of teaching a graduate level AAC course at the University of North Texas and presenting at the Texas Speech-Hearing Association annual meeting. My clinical style is energetic, functional, strengths-based, and rooted in client empowerment to create self-advocates.

Our daughter started speech with Expressable over the summer to avoid learning loss and bridge the gap. When she got back to school in the fall, after just a few weeks she was completely dismissed and is speaking with incredible accuracy and more confidence! Thank you

I love Expressable and our therapy sessions! However, having the sessions over zoom is a bit challenging - there are always audio issues and my child is less engaged because she sees it more like watching TV than interacting with a live person. It would be nice to have a combined option where every other session (or something similar) could be in person so that the child can build a stronger connection to the therapist. I think that would help tremendously with increasing the engagement over zoom.

Our first session was fantastic! Our speech therapist worked exceptionally well with our 6 year old boy, talking to him and keeping his attention as well as making him feel included in the discussion instead of just a bystander
