Kerri Villa

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.S., CCC-SLP)

Accepts 19 insurance plans

Hi! I’m Kerri. I became a speech-language pathologist (SLP) because I’m passionate about empowering people to communicate, connect, and participate fully in life at every stage. I believe communication is the foundation of meaningful relationships, independence, and quality of life, and I’m honored to help clients and families build those skills together.

My clinical experience spans a variety of settings, where I’ve supported individuals across the lifespan with a wide range of communication needs. I enjoy creating engaging, functional therapy plans that are tailored to each client’s unique strengths, goals, and everyday routines, always emphasizing meaningful progress that carries over into daily life.

I have a special interest in supporting individuals with complex speech and literacy needs and have completed specialized training in selective mutism and the Hodson Approach for Phonological Disorders. Whether working with young children, school-aged students, or adults, I’m committed to providing evidence-based, individualized care that helps each client connect more confidently with the world around them.

My therapy approach is family-centered, routines-based, and highly individualized. I use functional strategies that support communication beyond the therapy room and collaborate closely with clients, families, and caregivers to encourage lasting carryover. I also incorporate sensory integration strategies to promote regulation and engagement, helping every client build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and participate more fully in the activities and relationships that matter most.
