About me

Hi! I'm Katie. I became a speech-language pathologist (SLP) because I wanted to help people. I have a passion for working with infants and toddlers with their feeding and swallowing skills, as well as helping young children find their voice through development of early language skills and sound production. I enjoy working with families to provide family-centered care in order to help each individual reach their full potential. I have worked in settings such as hospitals, home health, clinics, and schools. I have trained in the following: Certifications: NMES Pediatric Provider; Trainings: Swallow Function Study (SFS) clinical competence, infant feeding clinical competence, Facial Reanimation clinical competence; Courses: Presented at TSHA on Facial Reanimation. I would describe my clinical style as holistic, client-centered, functional, individualized/personalized, family-centric, routines-based, strengths-based, and rooted in client empowerment to create self-advocates.

Katie Crouch does an AMAZING job helping keep (my child) engaged in his appointments and also teaching me how to help him at home! She has been such a blessing to us!

We like the flexibility of being able to do the speech therapy at home from the computer, my son likes the games, and the therapist is nice too.
