Justin Yehle

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.S., CCC-SLP)

Accepts 16 insurance plans

Hi! I’m Justin. I pursued speech-language pathology because of a deep belief in the transformative power of human connection. I am driven by the opportunity to build genuine rapport with individuals of all backgrounds and unlock the unique potential within every person I serve.

My clinical experience spans a variety of settings, supporting clients across the lifespan with diverse communication needs. My therapy approach is functional, strengths-based, routines-based, and client- and family-centered. Whether working with adults or children, I prioritize client empowerment and self-advocacy, tailoring every session to help individuals achieve meaningful independence in their daily lives.

I am particularly passionate about gender-affirming voice care, an area where I hold specialized research and clinical expertise. My Master’s thesis examined the acoustic and perceptual outcomes of vocal training for transgender women, research I put into practice while leading individual and group therapy at the University of Rhode Island’s Transgender Voice Clinic. Additionally, I have completed interdisciplinary training in specialized protocols, including the LOUD Crowd program for Parkinson’s disease and the Gateway Café for traumatic brain injury rehabilitation.

Other interests

Outside of my clinical work, I stay active and creative through a variety of hobbies. I am an avid explorer of the outdoors, whether I’m out on the water kayaking or hitting the trails for a hike. When I’m not outside, I enjoy the tactile process of crochet and keeping up with the latest movies. I’m also a dedicated foodie who loves discovering new flavors, though nothing beats the quality time I spend with my family.
