About me

Hi! I'm Jillyan. I became a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) in 2012. I chose to become an SLP because I love helping people find their voice. Communication can look so different for everyone and helping someone find that superpower drove me into this world. I have worked in schools, private clinics, home health, and skilled nursing facilities (SNFs). I have a passion for educating others. I have provided district led trainings for school-based therapy to integrate traditional therapy into the classroom for push-in models for optimum success of the students. I have also led parent trainings on AAC devices for first time AAC-users. I would describe my clinical style as holistic, client-centered, functional, individualized/personalized, and rooted in client empowerment by creating self-advocates.
