Jillian Kuhn

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.S., CCC-SLP)

Accepts 24 insurance plans

Hi! I’m Jillian. I became a speech-language pathologist after working as a vocational aide and coach for a young woman with autism, where I was first introduced to augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Learning about communication devices and language development sparked a passion for helping others find their voice, inspiring me to pursue a career in speech-language pathology.

My clinical experience includes home health, private practice, skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), and public school settings, including both in-person and virtual services. Across these environments, I’ve supported individuals across the lifespan with a wide range of communication needs, creating therapy plans that are engaging, functional, and tailored to each person’s unique strengths, goals, and daily routines.

I’m committed to lifelong learning and regularly pursue continuing education in evidence-based practice. I am a certified LSVT LOUD® clinician and recently renewed my certification to continue supporting adults with Parkinson’s disease and related conditions in improving vocal loudness, communication, and participation in everyday life. My early interest in AAC also continues to shape my passion for helping individuals access communication in ways that work best for them.

My therapy approach is holistic, client-centered, and highly individualized. I use strengths-based, functional strategies that promote communication beyond the therapy room and collaborate closely with clients, families, and caregivers to support carryover into everyday life. My goal is to help every client build confidence, foster independence, and communicate in ways that are meaningful to them.
