About me
Hello! I'm Haleigh, a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP). I am the oldest of three, and both my younger sister and brother had speech therapy services as children. Their speech therapist included me in the sessions, so you could say I started at a very young age. Seeing the impact she had on both my siblings' communicative confidence was inspiring. As I got older, I realized I also wanted to have that lasting impact on others. I've worked in settings such as schools, skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), and virtual. My trainings include Targeting Language Skills Using Children’s Literature, Using Expository Texts to Target Language Skills: Upper Elementary and Middle School Clients, Teletherapy for the School-Based Therapist, Assessment of School-Age Clients through Telepractice, Autism Outreach - Telestrategies for Students with ASD, Everyday Cybersecurity, and Creating and Adapting Therapy Materials for Telepractice. I would describe my clinical style as holistic, client-centered, engaging/adaptable, and rooted in client empowerment to create self-advocates.

I enjoy spending time outdoors with my dog Maya and the people I love the most. From hiking to kayaking to fishing, I am a nature loving gal. I also enjoy playing sand volleyball recreationally and sometimes competitively. I love trying new foods and learning new recipes.

At this point, Haleigh has given me sufficient tools and training to speak with adequate volume, to over articulate, to generate and maintain adequate breath control. No longer are people asking me to repeat or leaning forward to hear.

Haleigh was amazing. (My son) responded very well to her (overall). Unfortunately, the online platform was not conducive for his young age and minimal attention span. He needs in person speech therapy. However, we did see good improvement with (my son's) speech and vocabulary. Thanks for everything Haleigh. We appreciate it.
