Eleni Nikitas

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.S., CCC-SLP)

Accepts 8 insurance plans

Hi! I’m Eleni. I became a speech-language pathologist (SLP) because of my love for language and my desire to help people build meaningful connections. I’ve always been fascinated by the layers of language—the subtle nuances, unspoken rules, and patterns that shape how we communicate and truly understand one another. Being able to connect, share experiences, and feel understood is incredibly powerful, and I’m grateful to support others in finding their voice and building those bridges every day.

My clinical experience includes working in both school and outpatient clinic settings, supporting children with a range of speech and language needs. These experiences have helped me develop a flexible, collaborative approach focused on meaningful progress and functional communication in everyday environments.

Prior to becoming an SLP, I earned a master’s degree in education and spent over five years as a special education teacher, working with students with dyslexia and language-based learning disabilities. I have also completed professional training in crisis de-escalation and behavior support, including Think:Kids (Mass General Hospital Tier 1) and Crisis Prevention Institute training.

My therapy approach is client-centered, highly individualized, and functional, with a strong emphasis on family involvement and strengths-based strategies. I aim to support clients in building confidence, independence, and lasting communication skills that carry into daily life.
