Cynthia McMahon
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.A., CCC-SLP)
Hi! I’m Cynthia. I "fell into" speech therapy my junior year of college, and it was the best decision I have ever made.
I have had the opportunity to serve individuals in the home health, acute care, SNF, IRF, school-based, cyber school, virtual outpatient, group homes, and in-patient pediatric outpatient settings. I am certified in Vital Stim and Interactive Metronome. Additionally, I have extensive experience with augmentative communication, apraxia, feeding/swallowing disorders, and pediatric language development.
My clinical approach is highly individualized and family-centric. I use sensory integration strategies to support regulation and engagement and prioritize functional outcomes that matter most to each individual and their family.
