Christiana Akiki

Hi, I’m Christiana! I’ve always loved helping others; it’s when I feel most fulfilled! I’m especially passionate about seeing someone’s quality of life improve through communication, whether that’s helping a child express their wants and needs or supporting families in feeling more connected. I also love building relationships with my clients and their families and being part of their progress over time. It’s incredibly rewarding to see growth, even in small moments, and to know I played a role in that!

I’ve worked in schools, outpatient clinics, and private practice settings. These experiences have strengthened my ability to provide compassionate, practical care that is individualized to each child and family. My clinical approach is highly individualized and client-centered. I incorporate sensory integration strategies to support regulation and engagement, and prioritize strengths-based care and functional outcomes. My goal is to help children become confident, empowered communicators.
