About me

Hello! I'm Christi. I became a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) in 2017 because of a charity I volunteered at in high school. The charity was a therapeutic riding center, children engaged with therapists while riding horses. I shadowed an SLP working there and saw how she was able to get these children to communicate and how much fun they had doing it! I thought that's something I think I would love and the rest is history! I would describe my clinical style as functional and client/family centered. I try to be as holistic as possible working closely with interdisciplinary teams including MDs, RNs, PTs, OTs and Neuropsychology. I currently work in acute care, I am senior therapist in an ARU on the stroke and brain injury team. I have worked in private practice, SNFs and Post Acute Care Centers. I have certifications in MBSImp, DINES Vital Stim and I am currently pursuing CBIS.
