Asia Blackwell

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.S., CCC-SLP)

Hi! I’m Asia. I became a speech-language pathologist because I’ve always been passionate about helping others find their voice. Early in my training, I saw how deeply communication impacts confidence, relationships, independence, and overall quality of life, and I knew I wanted to be part of helping others build those connections.

Working with individuals who struggled to communicate their needs or safely eat and enjoy meals further strengthened my passion for this field. Watching clients grow from frustration to confidence and from limitation to meaningful progress continues to inspire me every day. I love partnering closely with families and clients to create therapy experiences that feel functional, supportive, and empowering.

I’ve pursued continuing education in feeding, oral motor, and myofunctional therapy through trainings including AEIOU, Feed The Peds, Simon Says Myofunctional Therapy, and Myofascial Release coursework. These experiences have strengthened my ability to provide individualized, evidence-based care tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals.

My therapy approach is holistic, client-centered, and highly individualized. I prioritize collaboration, functional progress, and creating supportive environments where clients feel confident, empowered, and successful in everyday life.
