Adrian Trotman
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.Ed., CCC-SLP)
Hi, I'm Adrian! I became a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP) because I sought a quantifiable way to ensure that students were achieving progress. After helping children and adults improve their communication for many years, what originally drew me to the profession still guides my practice.
My work with hundreds of individuals and families has elucidated that everyone has something important to say. My role as an SLP is to draw upon my experiences, training and education, knowledge of current research and best practices, and clinical acumen to enable people to communicate effectively.
I have experience working in a variety of settings, including birth-to-three (early intervention), private international schools, pediatric teletherapy, acute care and rehabilitation hospitals, skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), and home health. I would describe my clinical style as functional and individualized/personalized.

My sessions with Adrian are well-planned. I feel that I am making progress in my ability to swallow effectively, as not being able to do so has produced great anxiety. My confidence in Expressable is great and I recently made a referral to your company. Adrian has a good sense of humor and I look forwards to our sessions.

Expressable has been great. The speech therapist Adrian has been great. He worked very patiently, very professionally. He has worked with [my spouse] for over 6 months. [My spouse] has enjoyed all his sessions. He has learned to communicate with his device. So much more.

Adrian did an excellent and very thorough job of evaluating me. I wasn't sure if I was to return, but may have been expecting his report too soon. I look forward to working with him in the future.

I loved how [my child] was so excited about the book with the big red fire trucks because after session he kept talking about the big red fire truck.

Mr Trotman was kind and patient. I’ve learned how to speak correctly and found it unbelievably easier to speak than when I started speech therapy. I enjoyed the experience and I am extremely thankful!

The speech therapy sessions have been good and practical for my communication needs since I am unable to speak. The Lingraphica device has been challenging and very useful to my daily tasks.

I was pleased with the progress I made using Expressable. I had two different therapists (one went on medical leave) and they were both well qualified and I enjoyed working with them. Meeting via Zoom is convenient, and overall everyone is very timely with notes, assignments and billings. At times, I felt some of the exercises were too generic and were redundant. The structure of online exercises was sometimes confusing, but the therapists were able to clarify my questions. I plan to re-start with Expressable after a surgery to correct a vocal cord issue.

Adrian is an excellent SLP! He is always prepared, he listens intently, and continuously aligns my assignments with practical and relevant exercises.

This was my first session with a new SLP who is covering for my original SLP who is on leave. He was familiar with all my history and details, and working with him was seamless.
