Expressable’s approach to voice disorders in adults

Our speech therapists are trained in online therapy techniques and follow the Expressable approach:

1

Outcomes-focused

We typically recommend a frequency of 2 sessions per week for voice disorders, although this may vary depending on your needs. We use both restorative and compensatory strategies and approaches when treating voice. After each session, your speech therapist will give you easy practice activities to do in everyday life. You'll find them in your portal.

2

Individualized

Every speech therapy journey for voice is unique. Starting on day one, your speech therapist will collaborate with you to tailor strategies and techniques to your personal communication goals. And because therapy is online, you can attend from the comfort of home, along with a caregiver or communication partner.

3

Functional

Whether at home with family, out with friends, or at work with colleagues--for connection to be meaningful, communication needs to be effective. You'll learn practical strategies to boost your confidence and enhance the quality of your day-to-day communication.
