Wynette Caldeira

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.S., CCC-SLP)

Hi! I’m Wynette. I worked in Harlem, NY as a special education itinerant teacher, and in that role I saw a need in a community that was traditionally underserved. I became a speech therapist to aid communities where there were high needs and few resources.

My clinical experience spans diverse settings, including schools, clinics, and home health. I take a holistic, client-centered, and highly individualized approach to therapy. By integrating sensory-integration-informed practices, I focus on helping clients regulate, engage, and apply communication skills in meaningful, real-life situations. I also prioritize family involvement and functional outcomes, helping each client build confidence, independence, and effective communication skills.
