Megan Flanagan

Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (M.S., CCC-SLP)

Hi, I’m Megan! My path to becoming a speech-language pathologist wasn’t traditional, but it ultimately brought me back to what I value most: helping people connect and communicate more confidently. After working in healthcare technology focused on improving patient care, I realized I wanted to make a more direct, personal impact in people’s everyday lives, which led me back to speech-language pathology.

I’ve worked in elementary schools, middle schools, and private practice settings, supporting children with a wide range of communication needs. I’m especially passionate about working with autistic students and individuals who use AAC and total communication approaches. During my time in the public school system, I worked closely with students with severe and profound support needs and gained experience using AAC systems such as Tobii Dynavox and TouchChat to support functional communication.

I love creating personalized therapy experiences that help children communicate in ways that feel meaningful and empowering to them and their families.

My therapy approach is client-centered, routines-based, and highly individualized. I prioritize functional communication, family collaboration, and self-advocacy while helping clients build confidence and independence in everyday life.
